To make sure your algorand node testnet run smoothly on your machine, you need to have the following hardware requirement :

  • at least 4GB of RAM (8GB strongly recommended)

  • a not-too-slow SSD: HDD and SD cards are too slow for a testnet node and will most likely prevent the node to sync

  • at least 100Mbps connection (1Gbps recommended)
